To set a standard in exceptional medical practices, all imaging studies and invasive procedures are only performed and interpreted by cardiologists with additional dedicated training and board certification in that subspecialty.

The practice is overseen by Dr. Faraz Kureshi and includes a skilled and experienced team of medical professionals who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular disease. Based in Killeen, Texas, Andrea brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a Practice Manager at Axis Cardiovascular.

At Axis Cardiovascular, Andrea is dedicated to implementing effective workplace procedures and ensuring that policies align with industry standards. Her hands-on approach and attention to detail have led to significant improvements in workflow efficiency and patient care delivery.

Before joining Axis Cardiovascular, Andrea held key roles in patient access management at Ensemble Health Partners, where she excelled in navigating financial responsibilities and providing exceptional patient service. Her ability to surpass targets and foster positive patient interactions has earned her recognition as a valuable asset to any team.

Andrea's career in healthcare administration has been marked by a commitment to continuous improvement and a willingness to take on new challenges. Her diverse experience includes serving as a Mako Product Specialist at Stryker Orthopedics, where she honed her knowledge in robotic orthopedic technology. At CVS/Health, Andrea excelled as a Store Manager, demonstrating strong leadership and operational skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. Additionally, she served as a Practice Manager for a facial plastic surgeon at

Beauty by Dr. Kay in Pasadena, California, where she managed clinic operations with a focus on patient care and practice efficiency. This varied background has equipped Andrea with a broad skill set and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, making her a valuable asset in any healthcare administration role.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Andrea is actively involved in philanthropic efforts, serving as the Secretary of the Assisting Children Ministry. Her dedication to giving back to the community reflects her values and underscores her commitment to making a positive impact, both in and out of the workplace.

Andrea holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Management, further solidifying her expertise and dedication to her field.

Andrea resides in Killeen with her husband, Alex Gomez, and their three children, aged 18, 16, and 12. Originally from California, Andrea made the courageous decision to relocate to Texas in 2023, embracing new opportunities and experiences while maintaining her dedication to her family and career.

I've been going to Axis Cardiovascular seeing Dr. Faraz Kureshi since July of '22 after seeing another cardiologist for more than 5 years. Dr. Kureshi spent time with me discussing previous treatment methods, medications outcomes and history to determine next steps for me. Upon my initial visit made some minor adjustments to medications and ordered tests that had not been previously ordered (and he was surprised they hadn't already been done). Upon receiving new test results, scheduled a follow up to discuss in detail the findings, adjusted meds and our plan accordingly and within a month or so, my blood pressure was better than it had been in 7 years. Do yourself a favor, if you need a cardiologist, pick this one. He is what doctors were before the cattle calls started. He takes time, makes sure you understand what and why any changes are needed and prepares you for what's expected to come. His staff is also very attentive, compassionate and communicate better than I've had from any doctors office. Charlotte will take great care of you and also prepares you for what to expect from start to finish. I'm so glad my GP recommended Dr. Kureshi. By the way, my GP also sees him as well. Great people here!

I've worked in Healthcare in the past including helping run a medical office, as well as hospital administration and various other positions. We have an amazing Cardiovascular Physician , highly trained, Board Certified right here in Georgetown. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has great bed side manner. You don't always find such a personable approach with doctors in my experience. I do not work for this doctor, but after personally being involved and having his credentials. It needs to be shared. He started his private practice near Sun City in hopes of bringing quality care to our area. You're welcome to message me for his credentials. It's extensive and too much to post here!
